Now in near Kanazawa city

As I wrote, this week is 'Golden Week' means 'Large consecutive holiday' is a Japanese term applied to the period containing the following public holidays;

April-29 Showa Day

May-3 Constitution Memorial Day

May-4 Greenery Day

May-5 Children's Day

In this year's GW, I've stayed in near Kanazawa (Ishikawa-pref.) with my wife and son, went by 'Hokuriku Shinkansen'.

This Shinkansen's first section, between Takasaki and Nagano in Nagano Prefecture, opened on 1 October 1997, originally called the Nagano Shinkansen (Takasaki is linked to Tokyo by the Joetsu Shinkansen).

The extension to Toyama in Toyama Prefecture and Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture opened on 14 March 2015.

The construction of a further section onward to Fukui and Tsuruga in Fukui Prefecture commenced in 2012, with scheduled opening in fiscal 2022.

It's the first time for us to get on this Shinkansen and visit Kanazawa.

In this travel, I bring my ER-C57WR.
